well, i just dropped almost 2k on books for the semester this morning.  WoW might be out period now.

I think i spent less than 1k total for books in my 4 years of college, it's actually probably around 500-600. I never understood how people can spend so much money on books`

5 professors that all go

OMG NEW EDITION NEED NOW (200 per)
OMG 5 NEW SUPPLEMENTS TO THE NEW EDITION NEED NOW (40 per)

I've never spent so much on books before either

last year was 700 total, and that was the record until today.

Depending on your profession, buying books is like an investment or a black hole for you to put your money in to.

For teaching, I still have every single book from college and they help quite a bit.

Law school books are a total ripoff since everything in them is posted on westlaw or lexis for free (to students/faculty).  It's really quite sad that if the professors just gave us a case list, we wouldn't need books at all.
