the point of it is, there is little being discussed constructively, and quite a few attacks on eul and others, who should be treated with respect.

yeah it sucks that the skins and icons didnt get used. sorry. 100 posts saying that doesn't change anything.

As the post I posted on the 1st page, I quite enjoy what the AE change gives me, especially those costume (although I usually use VD which do nth in AE ^_^)

Actually I have played the AE just after it release on the USwest, I saw tonnes of games opening with AE at that time. In my opinion, these games already show how the DOTA community appreciate to Eul and all others work.

One thing I want to point out, many of players (even some pro I think) don't know this forum, however, while you all map creators see how eagar they play the map, you can understand what you all done is being totally acceptable and appreicated by the community.

No doubt, some errors were appeard on the map, but who can do things prefectly only in his 1st time? Especially a new creation. Try by error is the rule to make things to be the best.

I really hope that Eul will consider to re-release the AE in the short time. I think many of us (e.g. those also post supportive message above) are looking forward to playing it to enjoy!

For those flamer, I suggest just ignore. It is just a waste of time and effort to take care of it, isn't we?

only got time to check this forum in my lunch break, now AE is gone?!!!

I am one of the people looking forward to AE, please consider the majority of people who has a work to go to, and may not have time to check this forum every 10 min. In a sense, those people who had a chance to Dl and play AE this morning and bitch about it are people that either never sleep, or completely out of this country. why you give so much consideration in what they have to say. most of people will start play after 6pm in the evening......

Hi. First time Poster. I agree with both sides of this argument over AE. When i first got the map, I really liked it, only some minor bugs that dont affect the game too much, mainly cosmetic. I read some of the posts for it, criticizing Eul for "screwing up" Dota. I completely disagree. Eul made a new version of the map that many people have worked hard for, and many people wanted to have this great map. I think this is a great map and I appreciate Eul all the way.

But, I also agree with some of you saying Eul is being a little immature on this subject. Please don't flame me saying stfu or anything, im just voicing an opinion. Eul made a new map and it's bound to have some issues, but should'nt just scrap it and ruin all the hard work of the skinners. I think Eul should just release a second AE and fix everything, and maybe have about 3 versions of it, coming to a final great version.

Some of the skins were very very good, but others not so good. Once again, do these really affect gameplay? NO. Its just cosmetic changes that you should cope with and will eventually get used to. Anyways, I hope Eul is not too saddened about this that TFG will not be made or anything else too drastic. To all you haters, shame on you.

I still remember the only time i tried a hacked dota... A hero had doom, and it was castable on heros... :crazy:
