Disclaimer - i have no intent to offend Eul, or anyone else out there. I am simply stating some personal opinions. - /disclaimer

To Eul,

First, lets look at some facts. AE was released, it was bugged, people responded negatively. Did you expect anything less? What i didn't expect was your response. Paraphrasing, it's something like this - "some retards pissed me off, so i'm going to punish everybody."

Ok, i understand why you're pissed. You put lots of work into dota, very selflessly i might add. And there are disrespectful, rash, or retarded people out there who attacked AE or maybe even your person. I'd be pissed too. I also understand that in frustration it's very easy to use your power as mapmaker to get back at these people. But Eul, look at things clearly for a second. You're venting your frustration at the people who were unappreciative, but all the other players out there are collateral damage.

Is it worth it? All the work you and others have already put into it, all the players out there you're dissapointing, all the self-satisfaction of a more complete and more awesome final product taken away.

How bout this - show us what it means to be a big man. Show us that stupid monkey poo doesn't get to you. Don't punish everyone because of a few.

I know you don't owe us anything. You've never owed us anything. But you've always come out with new versions, with fantastic work. Why change that because of some comments by random people on an online forum?

If you have something to say to Eul, do it in a PM. If you have something to say to another member, do it in a PM. If it concerns the topic and will include all (or at least most) others in a semi-intelligent discussion, then post it.

We don't need threads of people playing "suck-up" and "flamer".

So what is the consensus on this entire issue?

Eul should make AE, it's his map?
Screw Eul, he made a piece of crap?
Eul should grow up and accept this critizism from a community?

.. I can't go on. I wanted to make a concise coment about this, but I'm standing in my favorite pizza place because my connetion has died for no reason. I had to post something up here (and get food - breakfast pizza!) as a response to the lack of consideration for Eul.


And RHIT_Rcuhljr, are you a mapper? Have you made a map for B.net and thrown it out there? Do you even understand how insulting it is for this to happen? It should have been ovious it was a beta, because there wasn't enough time to get all the balances and changes right.

well, this is going absofrickinloutely nowhere. Big Lou said it best, Eul's Map, Eul's decision. Case Closed.

To everyone railing on Eul for his comments: To you bloody well think Blizzard would keep something in their game that the majority of players didnt like. 1.13 Patch could have the Beastmaster reskinned as some naked fat dude with sexual parephenaila for a weapon? You think it would stay long if there was a mass outcry to remove it?

Of course Eul wants his work to be appreciated. Otherwise he wouldnt have released it to the public. Do you think he is making money off this or something? Last time I checked no one has charged you a single cent for dota. You pay for internet access and Warcraft III, not DOTA. So again, what motivation does Eul have for releasing his map? HMM....maybe he wants it to be appreciated.

Get over yourselves and find something better to do than pick apart someone who busted his ass to give you a damn fine map. If you don't like him, keep it to yourselves or go through the proper channels. If you dont like a decision he made regarding HIS MAP, cry me a river, because quite frankly, your opinion doesnt amount to jack since dota is now a finished product.
